Apparently last night there was a pretty good storm here. I went out to get a movie at about 7, and came home and put it in to watch. About half way through, I went to get some water and noticed leaves and branches in the street. Figuring that this would trigger my basement to leak, I took the carpet cleaner downstairs to suck up the water. After building a small dyke out of towels to direct water to the floor drain, I went outside. Something didn't look right.
